Calcination Temperature Reflected Structural, Optical and Magnetic Properties of Nickel Oxide

Stoichiometric compositions of NiO were prepared by the standard chemical co-precipitation method to inspect effect calcination temperature on structures, morphology, and physical properties. The samples calcined at three different temperatures viz. 350 °C, 550 650 °C for 5 h. X-ray diffraction analysis confirmed cubic (Fm-3m) structure samples. average crystalline size increases from 41 nm above 100 as in same time period. In Fourier transform infrared spectra, spectral absorption bands observed ~413, 434, 444 cm–1. bandgap energy particles is decreased 3.6 eV 3.41 increases. magnetic confirms that magnetization value invariably with a rise temperature.
